Yara UK Limited storage facility
Working on behalf of crop nutrition and fertiliser giant Yara UK, we designed and built a new bulk storage and bagging facility at Belfast Harbour.
Providing a new solution
The previous building needed expensive refurbishment due to the nature of the materials being stored causing corrosion of the structure and flooring over many years. Our solution was to demolish the existing building and replace it with a modern, tensile structure.
Durable storage for corrosive materials
As well gaining a brand-new building, this solution also enabled Yara to create a new and improved working floor plan to improve efficiencies. The tensile structure provided quick and cost-effective solution, but also a safe and reliable structure that can cope with the harsh maritime climate and the nature of the materials being stored.
